Short week

This felt like a short week. I did not get as much done as I wanted, but hey I still have a couple of days left.Right.
Husband and I went furnature shopping. Talk about sticker shock. We did not find anything we really liked so nothing new. Hummm!!! What else happened ? that I can talk about in public ! I have plumming problems in the studio. I have had to pull out the carpet in the bathroom....such a mess. The tempeture has gone from 20 % to 60 % this week. Not really a good sign, It is not spring yet. Here we have a bargain store, It is a salvage kind of place and I rarely go there but I knew they had some bolts of fabric. Most of it is decorator fabrics but it is cheap. Sometimes it is good quality. I found four bolts of decent cotton. Of course I bought them all. The one fabric is a floral print that has the repeat needed to make a One block wonder quilt another fabric is a coordination solid to the floral so of course I had to have it. I know I wont have time to make another Wonky quilt for at least a year but by then this ugly fabric will be gone. I got a bolt of white and something that I think is the right color for daughters wedding, It is not as nice a fabric as the others but we might need to drape something. You never know. I did take some photos but I left the camera in the studio and by the time I realised it I was to tired to care enough to go get it. LOL .

I did get to stitch one row of the DWR together. It reminds me of a boa, wrestling it about trying to stitch those connecting pieces. Today is a new day. Husband and I are going out to dinner. We have almost been married 29 years. That is a long time.
