Today I started marking my display piece for MQS. I am keeping it simple.

I have quilted out some of the sateen and pieced some on the DWR.

I also cut out 10 blocks all from scraps. Each block has 28 pieces and makes a 12 inch finished block. I am not sure I will like this quilt but I have decided to make it any way. All from my scrap bin. I will cut my scraps as I go and stitch blocks as I have time. Some day I will have a scrappy quilt. I know I should have been doing something else, but I needed to think and I wanted to cut some fabric. The scrap bin is overflowing. For me cutting up scraps makes for good thinking time.

I uncovered the bulbs we planted last fall. They are all coming up. Wish I could remember what I planted. Spring can't be that far away.
