Wow time flies. I can't believe it has been a week sense my last post.
I have been enjoying spring. Well almost spring. We are supposed to have some snow Saturday. Yuck! I have found myself setting starring out the window daydreaming.... Watching two squirrels, A red squirrel and a gray squirrel. Apparently they are not friendly with each other. They certainly kept their distance from each other. Gathering pecans and snacking on them..each watching the other closely. I found myself thinking how amazing they are. They gather nuts ( pecans from my trees) and hide them in the ground or hollow places in trees or anyplace they like. When they need them they are able to find them retrieve them and have lunch.... I am lucky to remember where I put my car keys...or my glasses....or well you get the idea. Humm... I wonder if I eat lots more nuts if my memory would improve? Probably not...I can not live off nuts alone. Unless they are in cookies.. These amazing little squirrel's are fun to watch but they can also be very destructive. Chewing holes in the buildings to get into the attic or walls. Yesterday we had rain.....Lots of rain, it flat poured. I had to do some grocery shopping. That was fun in a downpour. I survived nicely...had a nice lunch out. Today the sun is shinning, it is cool and soggy but the sun is shinning.
