ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT

Well I was going to pick a project...not done just yet. I know I want to do something for fall.

I was going to quilt another fun quilt.. Nope not done.

I did this instead. I had this pattern I wanted to do from the Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting / Easy Quilts / spring of 2008

This is a fat quarter quilt and I knew I wanted something bright that read kind of solid. I did not look at the colors. When I had enough fabric that fit the bill I was finished selecting.

This is one of those cut and shuffle kind of projects...This was my shuffle.

Just follow the directions..Something I am not really great at.LOL

OK so I do not like stitching long rows together if I can help it so I stitch them two by two when I can until I have it all assembled.

Finished.. Top. Fat Quarter Breeze pattern said it would finish 59 X 74
Mine finished 60.25 X 75.25 A reminder... If I had cut my borders as directed at the beginning..they would not have fit. I know that my seam allowances are just a tad smaller than the recommended quarter inch.
This was a really easy project, Definitely a quilt in a day project, at least a week end project.
I thought the shuffle would create a color pattern of some sort... I don't really see that, I may have mixed up my shuffle or something, either way it was quick and fun to make. Just what I was looking for. Something bright on a dreary day.
I will have a post on borders in a day or so. So check back and see. Until then check out what others are up to at Bari's

Goals for next week. Well I won't have a lot of time and I find that I am doing better with out a bunch of set goals..LOL I still want to quilt that fun quilt..so we will see if I can get that done.

I love it -- so bright and cheery. Perfect winter project! No worries about the list thing. I make the list, then forget about it! I'm trying to be better, but I'm not having much luck. I'm a "wing-it" kinda gal!

The colors are perfect after this winter! The brights are so cheerful and fun.

That would make a wonderful quick and easy baby quilt for a gift also....

I probably wouldn't have a list either, but as the organizer of thise here get together, I feel I have to have some kind of list! :-) Other wise I would be off on all kinds of tangents..........is that bad?

Can't wait to see what you do this week!
