I have made a little progress.
I am not sure if you can tell from this photo but I am having problems with this methoud of applique.
It looks a little wonky to me. At least these are to be pillows and not a quilt.

This is the second block I have tired this using this methoud and I am just not happy with the results.
So I am going to continue with this project using a prepared methoud.

Wish me luck.
Go on over to Judy's to see what every one else is doing.

It will probably look a lot better when you get the pattern out from under it.

It looks like a good start to me. I always thought the glory of applique is that it is so forgiving. Who would know it weren't perfect???

It looks good and it will look better 2 weeks after you finish.

Hi Julianne! Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! Your applique project is looking good! Did you know you're a no-reply blogger? Some folks prefer to be; some have no idea! So I like to say something when I come across one! :)

Julianne, that looks fine, what method is that? I have one I really like if you are interested.

What type of applique is it? I think it will be pretty. With applique, you can put the leaves and flowers wherever you want, so no mistakes!

I use fusible interfacing. I sew around the design (right sides together) and then turn with a straw. Makes perfect leave and you just stitch very neatly around it. Love doing that!
