GARDEN UPDATE 

My first time growing peas...and they are loaded...

YUM !!!!

Won't be long now...I will be having peas for dinner..

or a snack straight from the vine. 

First tomato of the year.

The plant better hurry up and grow

or the tomato will be bigger than the plant..

That just won't do.

First Cayenne pepper...

again..that plant had better start growing..LOL  

And look at this onion...

don't look at the grass...

this part of the garden is fenced to keep the rabbits out of the peas...

(You know how much those rabbits love peas...)

and that makes weeding a bit more difficult..

What has happened to quilting?? 

Well the day job...has happened.

We are in the middle ( near the end now I hope ) of a HUGE remodel.

I mean HUGE !!!!

AND we have a very...very important inspection coming up fast.

VERY IMPORTANT INSPECTION.....

I am praying the remodel is finished and cleaned up before inspection..

A quick word of advice for business owners ...bosses..

PLEASE try not to schedule a HUGE remodel AND a HUGE inspection to close together

or you will stress out all your employees...and make them all crazy...

Heck they may even revolt.. threaten to quit nearly every day....

Just so you know....

The construction workers have all been really great to work with

 and to work around ..but we will be glad for them to be done and gone...LOL 

It is not personal...we just have a ton of things to get done..

and it is kind of hard to get things done in a hard hat zone....

Yes there have been moments where we 

were required to wear hard hats to do some of our duties...

I look really cool in a hard hat....LOL Just in case you wondered.

Any way....I am ready to get back to something a bit more fun..

Like quilting....
