ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT

Let there be mud. LOL But the snow is just about gone. The temperature has warmed up a lot! Today is supposed to be 60 plus. The only snow left is from the really large drifts and those will be gone today I think.

This is our turn around place .. solid ice, a real problem this week. From the path on it is ice covered with a little snow, the water just hangs out there and well you know what happens then. LOL Most of it is gone now and I should be able to bring my car back to the house tonight...YEAAA!!!!!!

The old UFO This thing went together kind of like a jig saw puzzle !!

It is now a TOP and off the list, moved to the needs to be quilted list. The little applique blocks were supposed to march all around the quilt but, I could not stand those two pieced blocks so I changed the plan. Finished is good.
Kit bought in 7/10/ 2001 for $139.96 because it was the last kit original price $169.00
Top finished 74 X 82.50 was supposed to finish 72 X 81. I only mention this because, so often the top turns out a different size than the pattern states. I find it best to wait until the top is finished to cut borders and bindings. Measure the finished top...if you just cut your binding or border the size the pattern calls for...Well you might just find that they are to small. Then what do you do? You go shopping for fabric. LOL

This is the little quilt I had on my machine. Just something fun.

Ok for next weeks goals.. Well I don't know? I did dig for a new carry about project. I have not settled on anything. I did find a old applique practice block. So I will practice my needle turn applique before I choose a project. I want to quilt another play quilt. Pick a new project.
That is it for me. LOL Go to Bari's
I am sure every one else is doing better than I am, LOL Take a look, join in if you like it is fun to see the progress.

Wow, you did get a lot done! I love the way you showed us step-by-step with pictures how you put your UFO together. Quite the challenge! Your changed plan looks like it was meant to be that way. Good job!

I also love your little play quilt. What fun! Nice quilting, too! :-)

Your goals for this coming week sound nice and relaxing. Can I be you this week?
