Accountability Challenge

Well I did nothing quilty this time. My week was filled with non quilty things so I have nothing to show. I did get my calender set for the next few months...I am good to go there now.

I did nothing on the old UFO or any piecing. Nothing. I have split open the end of my right index finger. Now it is just a minor thing and my finger is not going to fall off or anything but it hurts. LOL I cant even put on a glove without it starting to bleed and I don't want to bleed on my projects. Yes I am trying to keep the finger taped up or something..it is kind of hard to keep a bandage on. LOL Any way That is my story and I am sticking to it.......

I hope every one else had a more productive week.

I get those finger splits all the time in the winter. I hate them -- they get so sore, and take forever to heal up. Right now I have one on the end of my middle finger, right where I wear my thimble. How aggravating! And you're right, keeping a bandage on is nearly impossible. I'm constantly using my hands or getting them wet. Superglue on the cracks helps a lot. It takes the pain out and protects the crack while it heals. You have to keep applying it, but it does work.

I am with Shelly on the superglue thing! My hubby gets those cracks in his hands and his heels during duck season because of the cold and the exposure to water. It works great!

You actually DID get something done this week. Just getting your calendar organized is a huge thing - at least it would be for me anyway.

There is always this week.....Hope that finger heals quickly!

I HATE those - they are truly painful. Hope your finger heals and you enjoy re reading Gran's things. That is a fun accomplishment! ( add reading to your list LOL)

I use the liquid bandage, which I guess is similiar to super glue.
